22,700 yards. Known as "Captain Comeback," Staubach led the Cowboys to four
Super Bowls, with victories in Super Bowl VI and XII, before being inducted into the Hall
of Fame in 1985. A Heisman Trophy winner at the Naval Academy, the Cowboys drafted
Staubach in 1964.

Notable: Three SB victories; 12,566 yards, 4.3 average per carry., 125 TDs. The
NFL's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns, Smith was the MVP of Super Bowl XXVIII and is
on the verge of moving into the top three all-time in rushing.

Notable: 1,500 carries; 6,217 yards (third all-time on team); 42 TDs.
First Cowboy to rush for more than 6,000 yards and among top 10 rushers in each of his

Notable: Two SBs, one victory; 365 receptions, 7,295 yards (fourth all-time on
team), 20.0 avg. (first), 71 TDs. Played in an era when teams didn't throw the ball as
much and still had 21 games of at least 100 yards. The Cowboys went 16-5 during those
games. After winning the hundred-yard dash in the '64 Olympics, his speed forced defenses
to change their coverage to zones and double teams.

1962, he went on to play along with Chuck Howley and Lee Roy Jordan for more than 10

team); 743 solo tackles (first all-time on team). Jordan anchored the "Doomsday
Defense," after an All-America career at Alabama. In 1971, combined for team record
21 tackles in a game. Jordan is a Cowboys' Ring of Honor member.

Notable: three SBs at CB; 52 total interception. A Hall of Famer, Renfro is the
Cowboys' all-time leader in interceptions with 52 and kickoff returner (26.4 yard career
average). He played safety and cornerback.

Notable: 11 interceptions and 3 TDs in 49 games with Cowboys. The best coverage
cornerback in the NFL, he signed the largest signing bonus for a defensive player in the
history of the NFL. He is the only man to play in a World Series and a Super Bowl.
